Tuscany in Your Backyard
Breezy comfort born from airflow and a balance of light and shadow — the heart of Tuscan style at home.
The heart of Tuscan style isn't heat and dryness — it's the breezy comfort that comes from spaces open to airflow and a balance of light and shadow.
The brief
For the Toscana Residence, the client wanted an Italian garden feel for the entry and pool area, without planting species that would struggle in Chonburi's humidity.
Design approach
We kept the Tuscan vocabulary — clipped hedges, gravel, warm stone, silvery foliage — and swapped in plants that thrive in Thailand. Tall hedges line the entry walk, giving privacy and funnelling breeze toward the house.
Around the pool, boulders and soft grasses keep the edge natural rather than resort-like.
The result
An Italian garden brought to life in a Thai backyard — comfortable, breezy, and built to last in the local climate.
